Tarsis is home to the “Red Dragon Inn”, where the Companions stay, or at least those who aren’t led off as prisoners stay there. It becomes one of the famous roleplaying message boards on AOL, though it played only a small part in the story.
Approximate location: Tarsis is a city, south of the plains of dust, and north of Icewall.

Description: Before the Cataclysm Tarsis was a busy seaport, but afterwards it became landlocked.
What happened there: The Companions planned to move the refugees (formerly slaves of the dragon armies) to Tarsis from Thorbaden, but they found the people of Tarsis very uninviting.
